Cloak & Daggeris officially a go at Freeform , with the Marvel goggle box serial having received a 10 - sequence season 1 order of magnitude . Over the next few years , Marvel will be bringing a telephone number of newfangled dimension to telecasting , across multiple meshwork . Over the next six month or so , we ’ll be seeingThe Defenderson Netflix andInhumanson ABC ( after a brief Erolia minutilla in IMAX theater of operations ) . We ’re also scheduled to getThe Punisheron Netflix afterward this class . Meanwhile , output is moving along for Hulu’sRunaways , in addition toCloak and Dagger .
TheCloak & Daggerpilot wrapped filming not too long ago , so fans have been anxious to hear any more news about the serial publication . We know whothe two leads will be , along witha figure of supporting lineament . What ’s been unknown , however , is how Marvel will tweakCloak and Dagger ’s originsfrom the comics . In fact , until now it was n’t a given that the show would even make it to series - and how many episodes it might have .
Thanks to a young report fromMIP , we ’ve eventually got an update onCloak & Dagger . During a display for Disney Distribution at the MIPTV consequence , Senior Vice President Mark Endẽmano offer attendees teasers for a number of coming show . Along withInhumans , Cloak & Daggerwas previewed . It was also confirm that the show had been ordered to series by Freeform and time of year one will consist of 10 installment . Speaking briefly on the labor , Endẽmano said :
“ Cloak & Dagger is about character and emotion above all . It evidence of a romance between Tandy and Tyrone in a elbow room that we have n’t really see before in a Marvel TV series . So remember Romeo and Juliet though I can tell you that they wo n’t be dying at the end of the first episode ! ”
While Endẽmano mostly reiterated the show ’s synopsis with his statement , it ’s interesting to note thatCloak & Daggerwas featured withInhumans . Given that the latter is set to dispatch CRT screen this fall , that could mean that the former is further along thanRunaways . We have n’t heard whether Hulu have open their Marvel show a series order yet , so we could terminate up seeingCloak & Daggerfirst . At this point , it ’s unlikely to come in the fall , but early winter or spring of 2018 seems a dependable bet .
The other interesting thing about the 10 - epiosde run means it will diminish more in communication channel withAgent Carterand the Netflix depict . We heard for a while back thatCloak & Dagger ’s budgetwill compeer Marvel ’s Netflix shows . If this is dead on target , and their product agenda is for three less episodes , we could be seeing some phenomenal force work on the Freeform series . Given the powers of Cloak and Dagger , that ’s beneficial newsworthiness for fan and general audiences alike . Hopefully , more news on the serial publication will follow shortly .

It ’s dependable to assume that the characters will soon pop up in other peregrine games from Marvel , such asFuture FightandAvengers Academy . For fans of the paladin , this will be an exciting time , as Marvel are potential to push the two into the spotlight ahead of the show ’s release .
