V Warstakes an interesting approach to thevampiregenre and treats the deadly translation like more of a virus . Dr. Luther Swann ( Ian Somerhalder ) attempts to find resolution and a cure for the rapidly growing crisis and matters become more complex from him since his near champion , Michael Fayne ( Adrian Holmes ) , is the initial one to contract the lamia virus . One of the things thatV Warsis most interested about is the social rift that rises between “ Bloods ” and “ Anti - Bloods ” over the course of this infection and a tenuous Libra is maintained between humans and vampires .

As thefirst seasonofV Warscame to a close , its season stopping point made some major change and aid set the mesa for a unlike dynamic in the show ’s second season . Calix Nikolos pulls off a number of massive move , like turning himself into a vampire with the original biomass ( and in effect destroy any hopes of using it for a cure ) , becoming the new drawing card of Blood Nation , and pull a fast one on his own kind so they ’ll suspect humans . He appears to get Michael executed and he ’s also responsible for getting Luther ’s son snatch , who ’s the remaining Leslie Townes Hope of an immunity . The final moment of the season are fix four months later after Calix has infected over 30 million more multitude and a grizzled Swann is ready for revenge . regrettably , the show ’s cancellation leaves his Luther ’s vendetta unsettled .
What Season 2 Of V Wars Could Have Been About
A second season ofV Warsmay not be in the board but theseries of novels and comicsthat they were based upon leave alone a decent enough blueprint to omen some of the broader strokes of season two . Luther Swann ’s mission for peace between factions has turned into a revenge mission as he ’s despairing to get back his Logos , Dez , and blood line Nation is now well strong than the humanity . It certainly seemed like Michael met his end at time of year one ’s conclusion and while the show probably would have found a way to bring back Adrian Holmes ’ character , this second season may have been more about strip Swann of all of his backing systems and leaving him dead alone .
The second book of the Christopher Maberry’sV Warsseries looks at vampires vying for their own nation as they continue to grow in power and indoctrinate the government as the Vampire Wars become more vivid . It also introduce the powerful vampire fictional character , the Crimson Queen , who leads Blood Nation to unprecedented achiever . TheV Warsseries had made several pin from its informant stuff , so it ’s unclear if the Crimson Queen would appear and take over Calix , but the severe stake of her missionary station still feel like they ’d be communicated regardless .
It would have been interesting to see how Luther outlive when the odds are now so against him and ifV Warswould have douse into any more case from its root cloth to act as allies , or if he ’d be alone . Sadly , Netflixisn’t continuing withV Wars , but at least Maberry ’s novel and comic are still out there to give fan some resolution .
