Her nefarious turn could have had more time to rig it up , but those " fire and lineage " aspects had long been part of her electric discharge . Her being killed in an ash - filled pot way , so close to the thing she ’d always want and dying in front of it - by the soul she fuck , no less - is a suitably opulent and tragic ending for one of the show ’s best characters .
