Why This Story From You Like It Darker Doesn’t Land Like It Should
Finn Didn’t Quite Find Its Right Tone

“ Finn ” has the correct scene and spot to be a terrific story , butfocusing on Finn ’s bad luck from the beginning decreases its repugnance potential greatly . Knowing from the outset that Finn has had bad luck his whole life makes the story predictable from the consequence he collides with a guy who come about to be dressed similarly to him . Mr. Ludlum taste to be threatening but does n’t get past the stereotypical crime bosswho excruciate people for data . Ludlum ’s henchman are n’t any better , and how easily they give up him and take Finn away to deliver him is also pathetic .
“ Finn ” works better without being marketed as a revulsion story , even though it had the potential to be . Its scare factor is completely left aside by Finn ’s unfit luck , the predictable job he accidentally gets into , and the ridiculous behavior of his captors . That ’s not to say , however , that “ Finn ” is a sorry story or the worst inYou Like It Darker , but it does n’t precisely work as a horror floor .
